As I posted before I don't believe in the dead returning i.e. classic ghosts or demons. I do believe in paranormal activity which people often confuse with the former. As I said I have person evidence of telekenisis.
To add to the "spectre" argument there is a body of thought that this can be attributed to stone work almost recording events.Especially those repetitive or with trauma. It might take people of special abilities or temperture changes to almost replay these events. Hence a ghost.

I know people who fervently believe in the existence of ghosts, I also know others who don't.
It's a hard thing to guage without there being any means to test its feasibility, now that Ghostbusters fucked up their enterprise by trying to appease ugly fat lesbians, no one makes those boxes to catch ghosts anymore as seen in the movies.
For me, if there really were ghosts able to manifest themselves in this realm, then people like Alistair Campbell would have chucked themselves off a cliffedge, so tormented by the spirits of those he had a hand in being slain, unless they really are servants of Satan and a couple of spooks saying "boo!" is water off a war criminal's back.
So in summary.
Probably not or at least they're unable to cross the spiritual plane while WiFi coverage is in such an early iteration.

Not me personally but few measured people I know who I worked with on LU Northern line city branch. Borough to London to London bridge is the oldest deep line train tunnel in the world its elliptical to accommodate steam trains. In the 30s a new tunnel for electric trains was cut and the old tunnel was us for bomb shelter during the war. There are still chains for chains for the flap down bed , kid graffiti on the wall and no smoking I this shelter. A bomb hit a water main during the war and many drowned in that shelter. 2 fellow workers got in there and saw a womxn with a kid in 40s style dress. They were both shaking when they got back to the cabin, I heard about this when I came back to the UK in 2019. City Road disused station , which is creepy as fuck you walk through it on track another old bomb shelter with signs up still. I bloke I know was a radio in the tunnel to people up top bringing in materials down the stairs and he freaked out as he saw someone in 40s garb walking across the track. Angel disused station the same a womxns pram fell on the track and they both go got killed when she jumped on the track to rescue her kid and again a lot of measured people have seen them down there

Even if people move away, they often keep in touch and gossip, providing an "invisible" path for information about people to be exchanged that none of the subjects in question ever know about.

Cholo I know how it all works.
We were all sat there, whilst she was on the phone, not once did she mention anything about her childhood or her priest, even my Uncle didn't know about him. She mentioned a lot of stuff about my Mum and her relationship with my cousin as well that he was "telling her..."
However she did it, it was good.
